YamD, groan, I'm pretty much as against super-conferences as i am a "playoff". A whole bunch of noise/rhetoric with questionable results.LOL
I see the Big-12 commish came out and said expansion isn't a given. Thank you, sir!! Fortunatly, most of the noise is back east where it belongs ,IMO.
I see this year as "wide-open" as it could get. Bama has lost a bunch of top flight people, LSU has a new QB and USC has depth issues. At a guess, one in three gets there without slipping a bit. That leaves the second slot wide open. Oregon, Arkansas, Georgia who knows?
In betting it isn't an LSU-USC NCG this season, although I'd like it. Odds are someone outside this group gets in , IMO.
