Yee-ha ! Two wins in a row over the Maple Leafs, not exactly as cool as stopping that crappy losing streak to the Canadiens, but we're fighting for a playoff spot.

Go Bruins !

They've only said that Savard will miss the weekend or a minumum of 4 games. But like I said earlier, a broken bone in his back can't be good. Maybe we get lucky and it isn't more serious than it sounds.

So Kobasew is out for 6 weeks so pretty much the year,  Savard might as well wait a little while because we dont NEED him right now.

Lucic had one of his best games of the year without a goal.  He looked awesome.

That was DEF offsides by Kessel but who cares haha.

Bruins look good to make the playoffs.

I love when the Bruins beat the Leafs.  It's great to live in Leaf Land when this happens.  People are going to start hearing it!

Nice goal by Phil Kessel, it was offside, but it wasn't as bad as it looked.  It's about time the Bruins got a call going there way for once!

What a great pass by David Krejci to Marco Sturm, tape to tape, beauties!

What a great two game sweep of the Maple Leafs!  The Bruins, of course, really needed these wins.  Hopefully they can carry this momentum into the playoffs.  The Capitals are red hot right now and are on our heels.  Glen Murray looks like maybe he will get going and be more aggresive offensively.  Let's go Boston because I don't want to hear these clueless Capital's fans!!!!!

Great win last night, the second period looked scary but in the third period the Bruins stepped up. Phil Kessel had one of his best games of the year using his speed, looking like he cared last night checking not giving the puck away playing defense. Guys there is no question he is a frustrating player because he'll play a great game like he did last night then the next couple of games Kessel  looks lost out there giving the puck away getting trapped up ice and not showing any grit and toughness. But this kid has great hands let's just remember he is only 20 years old he is learning at the NHL level.

Let's hope the Devils breakout of their 5 game losing streak tonight against the Flyers, New Jersey has beaten Philly 5 straight this is a big game for Bruins fans if the Devils win it would give us a game in hand against Philly plus we own the tiebreaker against them also.

I'm rooting for the Devils tonight too guys !! It would be nice if the Capitals would lose a few games too.

I don't know about you guys but doesn't it seem like the whole team is playing a lot better with Marc Savard out of the lineup? Is it possible they theey were relying on him too much? Maybe the other players were trying to get the puck to him too much. And without him they all of a sudden have to think for themselves. This could be good for them if it breaks them out of that habit while he's out. David Krejci is definately stepping his game up in his place. I've been very impressed with his play since the All-Star break.

This team is going to be loaded with top talent at center. Now we just need to get a few more good wingers.

Can you imagine what it's going to be like for other players to play against Milan Lucic in about 5 years? And he'll only be 24 then. I feel bad for those guys. Ha Ha Ha! I love this kid!

Hey, does anyone know how you get a thread pinned? This thread has almost 700 replies now and over 11,000 views. I've seen some threads with less than 100 replies and under 10,000 views pinned on other message boards. There is two pinned on the NHL general board. Just wondering.

What do you mean by "pinned?"

Sorry guys, I haven't really been on a whole lot lately.  It's just one last week of school then I have exams.  So studying had to happen.  I'll try and get on here more though!

And let's hope the Devils beat the Flyers tonight, that would be awesome!

It's a shame that the Flyers got 1 point out of the game, but at least they didn't get the full 2 points!

Congrats Cobras!

Thanks guys!

Gibber, pinned means when a CBS administrator pins your thread so it's always at the top of the message board. It looks like a tac in the very left hand column of the board.

At least the Flyers only got the one. I'll take it. This last week is going to be very nerve racking to say the least. I'll be chewing my finger nails through every game.

Anyone heard any new news on Savard?

I talked to Neeley tonight and he said Savard is looking questionable for tomorow.  He said Kobasew is out for the year and there is no reason to think Bergeron will be back this year.

Well maybe I didnt talk to Neeley but these are the facts.  I talked to a friend of a trainer.

What we are looking for tomorow:

Bruins win

Islanders beat Philly

Panthers beat Caps (most important)

My bookie has The Caps as the underdogs.  Hopefully they play like the lesser team and lose.  If the Bruins lose and the Caps win...the Bruins are in bad shape.

However, if the Bruins win and the Caps lose, the Bruins will be alone in 7th place, 1 pt behind 6th and 2 points behind 5th.  We would also be 4 points above Washington and 6 points above Buffalo.

This next week is going to be so interesting to watch.
