And in case anybody missed the point earlier, Christian Leatner broke the rules, and Spike continues to brag about it.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like he just gives him a free pass.  Spike does at least make an attempt (however sad and pathetic it may be) to justify the breaking of the rules by saying that Leatner was assessed a technical foul, so it doesn't matter that he broke the rule.  I guess by Spike's logic, you can break any rule you want, as long as you're punished accordingly.  Or is it: you can break any rule you want as long as you're part of Duke's team.  Nice double standard, Spike.

As far as you and your life partner, Chester go.... I don't believe either of you are old enough to even remember when Duke wasn't good so your criteria for being a bandwagon fan is moot.  Besides, you're both too much in denial to ever admit if Duke had a bad year.  Hell you can't even admit that North Carolina had a better season the past two years, despite the fact that UNC won the regular season ACC (something Duke likes to hang banners for, even though bandwagon fans say they don't exist) and went farther in the ACC tournament, AND went farther in the NCAA tournament (the only tournament that most people actually care about)  AND they didn't lose to Lehigh in the first round.  All you can point to is your Maui trophy.

How many angry letters have you sent to Duke's Athletic Department demanding they take down the regular season ACC banners and the AP#1 banners?  There should be a pile of letters by now that would make Andy Dufresne blush. (that is if you cared half as much about supporting Duke as you do about trashing UNC...  but there isn't because you don't.)

And the NCAA has rules regarding eligibility.  Derrick Rose broke eligibilty rules, but since Memphis was punished, they didn't really cheat, right?  McGuire broke some rules too.  But since UNC was punished they didn't really cheat, right?  Corry Magette broke some rules too... but Duke didn't get punished?  I guess they're the biggest cheaters of all.

No hypcrite here.  I never claimed to be some virtuous poster who is only here to discuss sports.  I don't mind getting in the mud.  You're the one who's only mention of anything game related is limited to final scores, and a couple of last second shots.  

Again since tards abound here on the CBS boards with zero knowledge and make posts as if they are aware of what ACC Champions really means. The ACC recognizes as it's CHAMPION in basketball every year the winner of the tournament. That is a fact. Now if any team wants to show off a trophy or hang a banner or dance a jig because they "finished first seed" during a regular season then more power to them. There is no true round robin home and away and therefore NO TRUE REGULAR SEASON CHAMPION. It still isn't the ACC Championship and that is only acquired by winning the tournament.

That's odd.  I'd swear Duke has banners hanging in their rafters that say.  ACC REGULAR SEASON CHAMPION.  If the regular season CHAMPION doesn't really exist, you might want to notify some folks that are actually affiliated with the school.
