WT, That is good news about, Job. Will keep up the prayer! 

Hey guys, I got invited to preach tonight at an outreach church. Please say a prayer for me that I would allow God touse me to get out everything that he wants to be addressed tonight. He has put forgiveness on my heart so I am believing that it will be good. I just don't want to get in the way!

Being different is difficult. To say no to wrong-doing and evil can be excruciatingly hard.
Yet, our Lord calls us to be different; to stand apart from the crowd. If we will continue
to say no to evil, while saying yes to God, He will preserve and strengthen us. We are never
truly alone if we will only love the Lord.
 
Father, I want to do what is right, but sometimes what I do wrong is very tempting and appealing.
Please grant me strength to resist and hold onto what I know is right for the glory of Your name.
Amen.

In this world of noise and confusion, where can we find a place of peace and tranquillity?
If Christ is the Lord of our hearts, then we can turn inward. Christ is the giver of peace.
He transforms our hearts into refuges, where the clamor of the outside world cannot enter in.
Call upon the Lord, and He will surely grant you peace.
 
Father, I am tired of the furious pace of the world. Sometimes I just want to run and hide.
Allow me to run to You. You are my rock of refuge, my shelter from the storm.  Be the source
of my peace, Lord, in Jesus' name, Amen.

When the attacks from the Enemy are coming like a machine gun and the whole world does not make any sense at all, I recall Job and picture God saying "see, you have been throwing all of this stuff at my son and look at him, he is still going to praise me!" 

Praying for us all to have that type of focus when the enemy comes hard and strong! Be blessed everyone!

Just to let everyone know, while I might not always be posting, I am following.  Praise report, my wife and I were in a car wreck, the other guy rear ended us at about 50 mph, threw us into a field where we hit a wooden fence post and stopped, car is a shambles, but we both walked away, PTL.

Shouldn't there be some prayers for the folks from the Sikh Temple that were killed in Wisconsin over the weekend?

jjoey, I hope you and your wife were not injured in the accident and that those in the other car were kept safe as well.  I will be keeping you all in prayer as always.  May the Lord grant healing in body and relieve the stress that comes after such an accident for all involved.

Pac, you are so right.  May our Father speak His peace to the families of the victimes and the shooter and may He bring healing for those wounded.  May the Lord speak peace at that temple, throughtout Wiscondin, throughout our nation, and throughout our world.  There is so much violence and so little tolerance and love for those who are different from us.  May every heart be opened to the love of Christ and hatred find its end in our world.

Gary, as you say of Job, "Though He slay me, yet will I praise Him."  Amen and Amen!

I'm so thankfuly that neither you or your wife were hurt during the wreck!  Praise the Lord, indeed!

Everyone here is lifted up.

After being rear-ended at the end of June, my back has been giving me a lot of trouble again, because of all of the pre-existing injuries/surgeries, this just made things worse.  It's more aggravating than anything, because I'd gotten to a point that I consider "normal" for my back with the pain.  The last time this happened, I had injections done in my spine, and it worked VERY well.  I'm having them done for this one, as well.  They are going to be done this Wednesday.  I would very much appreciate prayers, that it does the same job it did last time... and thank you!

May God continue to bless us all!              

Please, brothers, I need prayer! I can't be specific about everything but some of the people close to me need prayer in a huge way.

My son has a hernia and will need surgery very soon, he is only 24. Please pray for him, too.
