ST. LOUIS -- The day before the 2010 World Series began, a Rangers official asked me for my World Series pick.

"Rangers," I said.

"No!" he screamed.

I couldn't change it then. I've changed it now.

The boss insists on a World Series pick again, despite all the proof that I have absolutely no idea who is going to win.

"Cardinals," I said.

Cardinals in seven.

Why? Because Rangers people asked me not to pick them again, and Cardinals people didn't ask.

That's why.

Don't worry, Rangers. I'm picking St. Louis

Hello Mr. Hob Knobler...your jinxing power does not work as well as mine.

I had rooted hard against the Mavericks. I even wrote a blog about Mark Cuban's tenure as owner and how it is ruining the NBA. I also wrote that Nnamdi Asomugha would not sign with the Jet or Texans. I even listed the amount he would sign for. I had written that Andrew Luck would forgo the draft last year....and I have written that he will forgo the draft again next year. I could go on and on...but I should not lest Knobler steal my ideas for a column of his. :(

Will CBSsports.com hire me, Mr. Knobler?
