By now, surely all baseball fans -- or anyone who watches TV, really -- knows there's a movie about baseball in theaters now called "Moneyball." It stars Brad Pitt as A's general manager Billy Beane trying to put a competitive team on the field with a low payroll.
Well, Jest.com came out with an utterly hilarious spoof trailer, called "Too Much Moneyball," about the big-spending Yankees.
In case you haven't seen the movie or need a refresher, here's the trailer for the real "Moneyball."

Video: Faux-trailer for 'Too Much Moneyball'Funny stuff...and to think Tom Hicks tried to keep up with the Yankees when he owned the Texas Rangers....he bankrupted the team with the likes of hundred million dollar boy Alex Rodriguez...now Nolan Ryan takes over the Rangers and is winning with guys he had been putting together when he worked for Hicks. We'll soon see if the Yankees can make it tot he ALCS again...and see if $92 million can beat $202 million once again...GO Rangers!
Oh...another shout out to the Tampa Bay Rays...the $41million wild card team! Lots of big money teams finished behind them yet again this year.... |
