Center fielder Grady Sizemore has been activated from the 15-day disabled list by the Indians. The move happened in time to get Sizemore into the lineup Monday, as he'll hit leadoff for the Indians. There was no corresponding move necessary, as rosters are expanded and Sizemore only gives the Indians 27 active players on the major-league roster.

Sizemore, 29, finished a three-game minor-league rehab stint this past weekend in his return from surgery on a sports hernia in his right groin area. He's hitting .237/.304/.466 with 10 home runs and 21 doubles in 61 games this season. He's been on the DL twice.

The Indians open a huge three-game series against the Tigers Monday.
