During the Tigers and Indians game Tuesday, which Cleveland won in the 14th inning on a walkoff hit by pitch, a new Twitter hashtag was born -- #girlbehindtheplate.

Perhaps people were just bored, but it quickly became a trending topic as a girl danced behind home plate, performing YMCA or simply dancing around. You can view part of this in the video above, placed on YouTube by user drakeviagra.

Some tweets about the girl behind home plate...

  • #girlbehindtheplate outlasted my laptop battery (@dausbury)
  • With Joe Smith now on the mound, the Indians are down to just Frank Herrmann in the 'pen. Unless that #girlbehindtheplate is available. (@ZackMeisel)
  • #girlbehindtheplate says Jobu needs a refill. (@TomLeyden)
  • The #girlbehindtheplate doesn't always drink beer, but when she does, she prefers Dos Equis. (@matthewbmowery)
