Dodgers, Mets giving tickets to vets

The Dodgers had already given a generous discount for military members, but now the team has taken it a step further and will provide free tickets to all active, reserve and retired veterans, as well as their dependents for the entire month of May.

Earlier today, I wrote about the Nationals and Padres giving free tickets to military members for tonight's games. The Mets have joined that action, as well, giving away 4,000 tickets to Tuesday's game against the Giants. The team has already distributed 2,000 tickets, but will make another 2,000 available Tuesday on a  first-come, first-served basis.
