A Florida TV station is reporting Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera was driving recklessly and forcing vehicles off the road before his arrest on Feb. 16.
Two Walmart truck drivers told authorities that a black Range Rover, later determined to be Cabrera's, forced one of the trucks off the road. He also roached another car to go off the road in order to avoid a head-on collision.
One of the truck drivers called 911 to report the incident and also reported the SUV was on the side of the road with smoke coming from its hood. That's where the authorities found Cabrera.
According to the report, the incident happened after Cabrera threatened to blow up Cowboy's Bar-B-Q & Steak Co. in Okeechobee, Fla.
