By C. Trent Rosecrans

Miguel CabreraA Florida TV station is reporting Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera was driving recklessly and forcing vehicles off the road before his arrest on Feb. 16.

Two Walmart truck drivers told authorities that a black Range Rover, later determined to be Cabrera's, forced one of the trucks off the road. He also roached another car to go off the road in order to avoid a head-on collision.

One of the truck drivers called 911 to report the incident and also reported the SUV was on the side of the road with smoke coming from its hood. That's where the authorities found Cabrera.

According to the report, the incident happened after Cabrera threatened to blow up Cowboy's Bar-B-Q & Steak Co. in Okeechobee, Fla.

I thought it utterly was gonna be some dull outdated submit, but it really unquestionably unquestionably believe it or not compensated for my time.

Do to his patterned behavior of total wreckless arrogance,  Miguel Cabrera is clearly deserving of this public stoning that all of us bloggers are so eager to give him.  However I don't think it is fair for people to continue to paint every professional athlete with the same brush that this dimwit was drawn with.  It's important to remember that athletes first are only people,  and inside any group of people you are going to find good ones and bad ones. American society and the media find talking, blogging and reporting stories like this one far more sexy then positive stories.

C'mon, maybe he was late to the ballpark and had to hurry.  It's the fault of the common layperson who gets in his way.  His time is more valuable than us mere mortals.  As long as you can hit a ball a mile or throw 90 miles an hour you have more privs and rights than anyone else.

He's Carlos Zambrano all over again. People who threaten violence are lamer than those who actually ARE violent. What a great ambassador for his country!

Maybe he just dropped his doobie between his legs when driving and was trying to avoid getting burnt, hence erratic driving.  Maybe the threatening to blow up the bar was just uncontrollable behavior due to the reaction of the alcohol, marijuana and HGH coursing through his veins.  Clearly he is an unfortunate victim of a highly improbable chain of events fueled by the irresponsible actions of the servers at the establishment who provided him copious amounts of alcohol further made problematic by the pusher who sold him the bag of weed and HGH.  The neglectful restauranteur most certainly should have made arrangements to make sure that Miguel had gotten home safely or at the very least to the next gentleman's club without incidence.  This nice young man has been given millions and millions of dollars for his ability to hit a baseball, what more should we expect from him.

I propose that the Tigers add the following paragraph to Miggy's contract.

You shall employ team appointed 24hr supervision for a sum of $200,000/yr at your cost.  This supervision may not be dismissed or otherwise terminated by yourself, especially when you are not sober.  This 24hr supervision is necessary to keep your sorry ass out of jail as you have clearly proven the inability to control this yourself.  This 24hr security detail will not hesitate to whip your ass should you deserve it.  The exclusion of the preceding is non-negotiable.

Thank you,

Management

Report: Cabrera ran truck off the road

What a shock, eh? It's incredible how egocentrical these athletes are. They've been enabled and pampered their whole lives. Too often, they've done wrong and it was swept under the rug. As they grow older, they feel emboldened because tehy know they can get away with it. Their indiscretions become more glaring and dangerous. This is yet another example.

Gooden threatened the welfare of his child. LT raped a minor. Strawberry broke his wife's nose. Cabrera nearly killed passengers and drivers on the road. Roethlisberger and Bryant sexually molested or at minimum took liberties with young women. Dez Bryant and Mike Leake shop lifted. The list is endless.

The next time you hear these guys whine about playing time or how the owners are "screwing" them, remember incidents like this. They are the luckiest ppl on the planet to make the money they make and skate through life virtually unscathed while others receive jail time and lose their jobs for similiar antics.

MLB should suspend him immediately. However, we all know the MLBPA has Selig and his cowering minions in their back pocket. Selig is a eunich. The inmates run the asylum.

There's a shocker!  Here come the Tiger fans crying that Miguel Cabrera is being given a hard time or treated unfairly in the media because they keep bringing up his drunken mess of an offseason.

Cabrera should be thankful he hasn't been charged with more by the prosecutor so far.  If any of us pulled the crap he did, our asses would still be sitting in jail and we'd be out of work for the foreseeable future.  As it is, he's getting preferential treatment.  He hasn't been through intensive treatment for his alcohol problem and should be thankful the Tiger organization is taking care of his sorry ass.

Report: Cabrera ran truck off the road

It's because Cabrera knows how bad of a corporation Walmart is and he was just trying to end the company.
